Ceinwen Simpson brings two decades of coaching experience and a lifelong passion for the game to the Emory & Henry Women's Lacrosse program. Raised on Maryland's Eastern Shore, where lacrosse is woven into the local culture, Simpson has never known life without the sport. From playing for 10 years to officiating for another decade and coaching for more than 20 years, lacrosse has shaped every stage of her journey.

Throughout her career, Simpson has been dedicated to growing the game and creating opportunities for student-athletes. She founded the girls' lacrosse program at St. Augustine High School and later established the Jacksonville Sting club program, where she guided countless athletes through the college recruitment process while helping them develop both on and off the field.

A passionate advocate for student-athlete well-being, Simpson also serves as a Morgan's Message Ambassador, promoting mental health awareness and fostering supportive team environments.

At the collegiate level, Simpson launched the women's lacrosse program at St. Thomas University in Miami, Florida. Under her leadership, the program experienced rapid success, receiving votes in the NAIA National Rankings early in its second season before becoming a consistent Top 15 program in the country. She led the program for four seasons, building a competitive culture and laying a strong foundation for sustained excellence.

Now at Emory & Henry, Simpson continues to bring her passion for player development, program building, and competitive excellence to every aspect of the student-athlete experience.

For Simpson, lacrosse is far more than a game—it is a lifelong calling.
