Hill led E&H to four wins at the Gold City Classic over the weekend, including a pair of run-rule victories over No. 3 University of North Georgia. The Stanardsville, Virginia native went 6-for-11 at the plate with eight RBI, five runs scored, two walks and a stolen base. She hit .545 for the week with a 1.442 OPS.
In the two games against the national powerhouse Nighthawks, Hill was a combined 4-for-6 with a double, four RBI and three runs scored. She tied the E&H record with two sacrifice flies in Saturday's game against Emmanuel (Ga.) University.
The wins over UNG represent the best wins for any E&H team in the NCAA Division II era and are the best wins for E&H softball since beating No. 1 Virginia Wesleyan in the 2017 ODAC Tournament.
Emory & Henry will host Concord University on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. in a non-conference doubleheader.
