INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — The Emory & Henry University Football team has earned a spot among the best in the nation, coming in at No. 10 in the second edition of the NCAA Division II Super Region II rankings.

This marks another milestone in the Wasps' impressive 2025 campaign, as Head Coach Quintin Hunter has guided the team to one of its strongest seasons since joining Division II and the South Atlantic Conference. The Wasps are one of four SAC schools included in the rankings along with Newberry, Wingate and Carson-Newman.
The Super Region II rankings are a key component in determining postseason selections for the NCAA Division II Football Championship. With two weeks remaining in the regular season, the Wasps are firmly in the mix as they continue their push toward a potential playoff berth. The Wasps sit at 6-3 overall and 5-3 in the SAC this season.
Emory & Henry returns to action this Saturday as the Wasps step out of SAC play to host the Bears of Shaw University for Senior Day, with kickoff set for 1:00 p.m. at Fred Selfe Stadium at Nicewonder Field.
