RICHMOND, Va. – The Virginia Sports Information Directors have announced their all-state teams for the 2025-26 academic year. Emory & Henry saw 10 of its student-athletes earn a total of 12 VaSID All-State honors across seven different sports.

For the fall, five football players were named to the All-State College Division Team. Junior defensive lineman Ean Rhea (Glade Spring, Va.) was named the state defensive player of the year as a member of the all-state first team. Joining Rhea as first team picks were senior running back Jordan Jackson (Richmond, Va.), senior defensive back Shawn Collins (Salem, Va.) and senior kicker Trace Butcher (Dacula, Ga.). Additionally, senior offensive lineman Deshaun Sharp (Spotsylvania, Va.) was a second team selection.

The fall season also saw women's soccer junior forward Charlotte Stavis (Charlotte, N.C.) receive a nod to the All-State College Division First Team. 

During the winter, sophomore guard Korbin Dixon (Milton, Ontario, CANADA) was selected to the all-state second team, while senior Gavin Lee (North Tazewell, Va.) was chosen to the all-state indoor track and field first team as a thrower. 

The spring saw the Wasps receive three more honors as Lee was selected once again to the all-state outdoor track and field team as a thrower, sophomore Hannah Booth (Longwood, Fla.) was tabbed to the all-state softball first team as a catcher and junior Megan D'Amore (Mooresville, N.C.) was named all-state women's lacrosse second team as a defender. 

The VaSID All-State teams are selected by sports information directors of member institutions of the Virginia Sports Information Directors across the Commonwealth of Virginia. VaSID, founded in 1983, selects Academic All-State teams across all sports in addition to All-State teams in two divisions (University and College) for 15 sports and five single-division teams.
